Whether you're a top rope, sport or bouldering aficionado, this event has something for everyone. Challenge yourself on a variety of routes designed to test your skills and push your limits, all while contributing to the preservation efforts of Muir Valley. With each climb, you'll not only feel the rush of accomplishment but also know that you're making a meaningful difference in protecting one of nature's most cherished climbing destinations.

FAQ:

Is this a rope or bouldering event?

Both! You can climb either top rope, (or sport depending on the category) or compete in the bouldering competition. For those of you wanting to compete in both, you can do so by selecting the combined entry fee. 

What are the categories?

There are 4 categories in both Men’s and Women’s divisions: Recreational (VB-V2 or 5.7-510a), Intermediate (V2-V5 or 5.10a-5.11a), Advanced (V5-V7 or 5.11a-5.12a), and Open (V8+ or 5.12+) Recreational and Intermediate roped routes will be Top Rope only, Advanced and Open will be a mix of TR and Sport. 

Will there be cash prizes?

Since this is a fundraiser event for Muir Valley we are keeping the costs low. This doesn’t mean that there won’t be awesome prizes for the top 3 places in each division’s category.

What is Muir Valley?
Muir Valley is a nonprofit nature preserve and rock climbing park run by climbers, for climbers.  We provide an unforgettable outdoor experience through public access to world class climbing routes at all skill levels, well maintained hiking trails, and opportunities for volunteerism to give back to the community through environmental and climber safety stewardship.
